Learners' Tips
Play this piece with a fairly brisk tempo. It has three distinct eight-bar sections with repeats: A, B and C.
The playing plan is: A - A - B - B - C - C - A - B.
The time signature of 3/8 (three-eight) means there are three 8th-note beats per bar, so one 8th note gets the duration value of a single beat.
The key is A major throughout and for notation readers, don't forget to observe the key signature of three sharps and automatically sharp all F, C and G notes wherever they occur on the staff.
