Etude in A Minor
Dionisio Aguado
Etude in A Minor is from lesson 19 of Dionisio Aguado's teaching method "Nuevo Método para Guitarra" published in 1843. It deals with arpeggio playing where the lowest notes (shown with downward pointing stems and played with your thumb) are melody notes as well as being the bass note of the chord arpeggios above. It should be played quite fast, but make sure that the melodic quality of the bass is preserved throughout.
